The decision to alter or to completely redesign a garden is usually the culmination of a period of intense thought. Reaching this conclusion takes time. The point at which I am asked to view your garden and advise as a garden designer is actually the beginning of the second phase of a landscaping project. Prior to this, you will have considered and discussed in detail how your garden might look in the future, expressing wishes, dreams and desires that your garden should ideally reflect. Prompted by your ideas, I will provide the stimuli from which we can sketch and elaborate our plan.
